History: Let me tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Theodore TOO. I’m a 65-foot tugboat working replica of the original TV character Theodore Tugboat from the beloved CBC series “Theodore Tugboat”. I was built at Snyder’s Shipyard in Dayspring, Nova Scotia and launched on April 19th, 2000, but my official birthday (my certificate day) is May 5th, 2000.

Festival Location: Blockhouse Island. Special activities on site provided by the tugboat crew.

Visitors will need a festival passport to go on board for a deck tour. Children 5 and under are free.

Festival Passport + Aquatarium Admission (admission valid between June 24-26, 2022). Advance purchase only.

The Aquatarium is an interactive discovery centre featuring exhibits on the wildlife, history, and splendor of the 1000 Islands and St. Lawrence River. They are located right next to the festival grounds, inside the Tall Ships Landing building (the tallest building at the waterfront) and right beside where the Fair Jeanne will be berthed during the festival.

Package Cost: $27 for adults, $25 for children (ages 4-15).


Theodore Tugboat is being brought to our festival through a partnership with the Aquatarium and RTO9, South Eastern Ontario.
