Give your loved ones the gift of a tall ships experience this year with tickets to the Tall Ships® Brockville Festival – Presented by Procter & Gamble.
The festival committee has plans well underway for this blockbuster festival that will be coming to Brockville August 30th – September 1st, 2019 and is pleased to be able to offer all ticket types for sale to the public starting on Monday December 3rd at 10:00 am online at www.tallshipsbrockville.com/tickets and from the Brockville Arts Centre Box Office.
The lineup of ships that will be visiting Brockville for the festival include: Bluenose II, Empire Sandy, Fair Jeanne, Black Jack, St. Lawrence II, Coast Guard, Canadian Navy, and at least two more tall ships that are still in negotiations. Land based activities will feature antique boats, encampments, live entertainment, kids zone, and nautical demonstrations. Tickets to the 2019 festival will once again include the Festival Passport for deck tours Saturday and Sunday aboard the tall ships and the highly sought after Dinner Cruises and Day Sails aboard the Empire Sandy. Due to their popularity, an additional morning sail has been added to the Empire Sandy’s sailing schedule.
New for 2019 will be the option to purchase tickets to sail aboard the Empire Sandy during Friday’s Parade of Sail. This is the first time in the Brockville festival’s history that the public will be able to be on board during this popular spectator event and Parade of Sail tickets are expected to sell out quickly. Enjoy a chance to tour Canada’s most iconic tall ship, the Bluenose II, and one other tall ship without the long lines at a 19+ event by purchasing a ticket to one of two Captain’s Receptions that will be held in Centeen Park on Friday and Saturday evening. The reception will also include live entertainment, a cash bar, and finger foods. Your reception ticket includes one drink ticket and your festival admission wristband. Three of our visiting tall ships will be offering a hands-on sailing adventure where “trainees” will take the helm, set the sails, learn about reading charts and experience first-hand how to sail a tall ship.
Festival Passports will be available for purchase in advance at an early bird rate of $12 (plus applicable fees) up until March 1, 2019 and then will increase to $15. Non-passport holders can purchase a general admission wristband for $5 that will give them access to all three parks (Hardy Park, Centeen Park, and Blockhouse Island) during the three days of the festival. Specialty tickets for cruises and receptions are limited and expected to sell out quickly.
