Shuttles and Transit

Complimentary Tall Ships Bus Shuttle

Parking will be limited close to the festival: take the guess work out of it and take advantage of our free festival parking and shuttle bus.

Parking will be available at the Brockville Memorial Centre (1 Magedoma Blvd.), the Brockville Shopping Centre (125 Stewart Blvd.), and the overflow parking lot across from St. Lawrence Park. Bus shuttles will also pick up hotel guests from the Days Inn, Travelodge, Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn Express & Suites, and Super 8 in Brockville (please note that parking at the hotels are reserved for overnight guests only).

We will have 2 routes running, a North/South route and an East/West route:

The North/South route will run in a loop with pickup points at the Brockville Memorial Centre, Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Comfort Inn, Travelodge, Days Inn, Brockville Shopping Centre (in front of The Score), and City Hall.

The East/West route will run along King Street from the St. Lawrence Park overflow parking area (grassy lot on the north side of King Street across from St. Lawrence Park), to City Hall, to Super 8 motel, back to City Hall and repeats.

Shuttle will run:

Saturday
 8am-10pm
(final pick up at the end of the dinner cruise and captain’s reception)

Sunday

Parking

We encourage festival attendees to take advantage of the free festival parking and bus shuttles that we have arranged (see below for additional details). These parking lots are conveniently located close to the 401 so if you are travelling here from out of town you should plan to park at either site rather than navigate your way to the festival site itself.

Parking close to the festival site itself is available, but limited. Given the volume of people we expect at this festival, parking on site will likely fill up quickly and you may have to spend some time searching for parking. If you are booked on a specialty cruise, plan to arrive with lots of time to spare to either find parking or take the bus shuttle.

Information on city parking, rates, and location of parking lots can be found on the City of Brockville’s Parking page on their website. Please note that some of the regular lots are within the festival grounds and will not be available for parking during that weekend – please refer to the map above or our custom google map for lots that will remain open during the event. Additional paid parking lots include indoor parking at The Aquatarium (accessed off of Flint Street)  and $10/car special event parking on Saturday and Sunday at the north end of the Brockville Railway Tunnel (at the corner of Brock Street and Tunnel Avenue  – accessed off of William Street). Funds raised from the tunnel lot will go towards supporting the railway tunnel attraction.

If you are booked on one of our dinner cruises, they will depart from and return to Blockhouse Island. A final bus shuttle will also be available at the end of the cruise to take you back to festival parking.

Accessible Parking

We will have a dedicated lot for accessible parking in the Market Street Parking lot (indicated on the festival map above). To access the lot: from King Street drive south on Broad Street, turn left onto Water Street, and turn left shortly after to enter the lot. There are limited parking spaces available, so if you are able to take the festival shuttle bus we recommend doing so. Golf cart drivers will help shuttle those with mobility concerns to different areas of the festival grounds.

Road Closures

Pedestrians will be moving between 3 festival site locations along the waterfront. For safety reasons and to reduce traffic jams along King Street and the waterfront, a number of roads next to the festival will be closed during the event. These closures have been marked in yellow on the site map above.

Primary closures include Blockhouse Island Parkway (the main site of the festival itself), Market Street West, and Water Street from Kincaid Street to Ford Street.

Avoid traffic and parking woes by taking our free festival shuttle and parking in our designated lots off site (information can be found above).

Please see the FAQ page for more information.
